The creepy image of the woman with bulged out eyes and a distorted smile wasn’t intended to use for evil deeds and it is actually of a sculpture which was created by Link Factory, a Japanese special effects company. It is called the Mother Bird and was once on display at Tokyo’s Vanilla Gallery of horror art.The sculpture, which is now used in the Momo Challenge on WhatsApp, was initially thought to be created by Midori Hayashi, who is a Japanese artist known for making bizarre dolls by using different animal parts.
