Lijomol jose, is an Indian film actress, who primarily appears in Malayalam films. She made her acting debut in the highly acclaimed Malayalam film Maheshinte Prathikaaram (2016), following which she went on to act in movies like Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan (2016) and Honey Bee 2.5
Professional career
Lijomol started her professional career as a staff reporter for Jai Hind TV. During this time, she attended an audition for Dileesh Pothan’s directional debut, Maheshinte Prathikaaram in which she portrayed the role of Soniyamol, daughter of Babychayan played by Alencier Ley Lopez. Even though she had a brief role, her combination scenes with Soubin Shahir were well received in theaters. Her second film, Kattappaniyile Rithwik Roshan, she was given a lengthy role and the film went on to become a huge success.
Her third film, Honey Bee 2.5 was fully shot during the breaks of the movie shooting of Honey Bee 2. Lijomol portrayed the female lead role as Kanmani, who is the personal assistant of actress Bhavana. Her latest movie is Premasoothram, where she plays Ammukutty the love interest to Prakash which is portrayed by Balu Varghese. Lijomol stated in Veethi that “My next would be a Tamil movie starting in February. I am in talks to sign a Malayalam film as well. It is too early to divulge more about both. I don’t prefer to flit from one movie to another. I wait for my chance and thoroughly enjoy what I do”
Personal life
Lijomol Jose was born in Peermade, Idukki, Kerala. Her father Rajeev runs his own business and her mother Lisamma works for the Forest Department. She is currently pursuing her post-graduation course in information and library science at Pondicherry University. She has one younger sister Liya, who is also doing her post-graduation. She has love affair with Kammatipaadam fame young actor Shalu Rahim, the relationship approved by both their parents. But they are not yet married.
